In hibernate4.1.4, the following error occurs when a table is automatically created in the Oracle Dialect: Java. lang. abstractmethoderror: Oracle. JDBC. driver. oracledatabasemetadata. getjdbcmajorversion () Z is caused by compatibility issues with the Hibernate and Oracle drivers. In addition to the old class12.jar driver, oracle11g also provides the ojdbc14.jar driver, which is located at/Oracle/jdbc/lib. Class12.jar will cause this error, and ojdbcjar will be fine.
