JavaScript Cookes Set Path method

Document.cookie= "userid=828; Username=hulk ";
You cannot use semicolons (;), commas (,), Equals (=), and spaces in the name or value of a cookie. It is easy to do this in the name of a cookie, but the value to be saved is indeterminate. How do you store these values?
