Jolla released the Sailfish operating system to focus on full gesture operations

On June 23, Jolla, a Finnish startup company, presented their latest OS user interface to the outside world for the first time at today's Slush conference and released the latest SDK.

Jolla named its Meego-based operating system Sailfish. Sailfish focuses on full-gesture operations and supports multi-thread seamless switching operations. You can interact with a running program on the main interface, such as hanging up the phone and pausing music. This greatly increases the ease of use of multi-threaded operations.

The operating system now supports multiple chip technologies and will support more mainstream chips. Italian law Ericsson has announced that it will support the Sailfish system on their NovaThor platform.

Peter Oaklander, senior vice president of Italian law Ericsson sales and marketing, said: "We are happy to include Sailfish in our supported system platforms. The support for the Sailfish system also demonstrates the flexibility of the Italian law • Ericsson NovaThor platform. We are looking forward to seeing the launch of the Sailfish Operating System Terminal next year ."

The Sailfish Alliance was the first to unite OEM and ODM vendors, chip vendors, telecom operators, application developers and retailers. The goal of the Alliance is to bring innovation to a growing market and help players in the industry stand at the forefront of mobile operating systems.

Currently, Finnish telecom operator DNA has also started cooperation with Jolla. Once Jolla has released a mobile phone in Finland, DND will be immediately promoted for sales.

In China, Jolla has also signed a sales agreement with the mobile phone chain store Dixintong. Jolla attaches great importance to the Chinese market. Its leadership has been in China for more than 10 times and thinks that China's Localization model is very important and should keep up with the pace of China.

The Sailfish operating system and interface are highly adaptive and can support smartphones, tablets, Smart TVs, automobiles and other smart devices. For developers, they can use a variety of development tools including Ot to participate in the development of Sailfish solutions.

Currently, the Sailfish SDK includes the elements on the Jolla interface of various development tools. Developers can develop based on their own needs.
