JQuery: An Example of lt selector usage. jquery Selector
This document describes the usage of the lt selector in jQuery. Share it with you for your reference. The specific analysis is as follows:
This selector matches all elements smaller than the given index value.
The minimum index value starts from 0.
Syntax structure:
Copy codeThe Code is as follows: $ (": lt (index )")
This selector should also be used with other selectors, such as class selector and element selector.
For example:
Copy codeThe Code is as follows: $ ("li: lt (3)" ).css ("color", "blue ")
The above Code sets the font color of the li element with the index less than 3 to blue.
If it is not used with other selectors, the default state is to use with the * selector. For example, $ (": lt") is equivalent to $ ("*: lt ").
Parameter List:
Parameters |
Description |
Index |
The specified index value. |
Instance code:
Instance 1:
Copy codeThe Code is as follows:
<! DOCTYPE html>
<Html>
<Head>
<Meta charset = "UTF-8">
<Meta name = "author" content = "http://www.bkjia.com/"/>
<Title> helping customers </title>
<Script type = "text/javascript" src = "mytest/jQuery/jquery-1.8.3.js"> </script>
<Script type = "text/javascript">
$ (Document). ready (function (){
$ ("# Btn"). click (function (){
$ ("Li: lt (3)" ).css ("color", "blue ");
});
})
</Script>
</Head>
<Body>
<Ul>
<Li> html zone </li>
<Li> div + css area </li>
<Li> jQuery area </li>
<Li> Javascript area </li>
</Ul>
<Button id = "btn"> click to view results </button>
</Body>
</Html>
The above Code sets the font color of the li element whose index value is less than 3 in the li element set to blue.
Example 2:
Copy codeThe Code is as follows:
<! DOCTYPE html>
<Html>
<Head>
<Meta charset = "UTF-8">
<Meta name = "author" content = "http://www.bkjia.com/"/>
<Title> helping customers </title>
<Script type = "text/javascript" src = "mytest/jQuery/jquery-1.8.3.js"> </script>
<Script type = "text/javascript">
$ (Document). ready (function (){
$ ("# Btn"). click (function (){
$ ("*"). Each (function (){
Alert (this. tagName );
})
})
$ ("# Show"). click (function (){
$ (": Lt (11)" bar .css ("border", "1px solid red ");
})
});
</Script>
</Head>
<Body>
<Ul>
<Li> html zone </li>
<Li> div + css area </li>
<Li> jQuery area </li>
<Li> Javascript area </li>
</Ul>
<Button id = "btn"> traverse all elements </button>
<Button id = "show"> click to view the selector effect </button>
</Body>
</Html>
Because the above Code does not specify the selector used in combination with: lt selector, it is used with * selector by default, so the code above can set the border color of all elements whose index value is less than 11 in the current document to red.
