jquery Learning Note: Using jquery to get the value of the Select drop-down box

jquery is not particularly skilled, each use is not commonly used to Baidu, specially recorded.

My drop-down box is:

class="form-group">           <selectclass=" Form-control " id="iv_level">               <option value=""> Clerk </ option>               <option value=""> Store length </option>           </Select>       </ Div>

Selection box:

By default is the clerk, altogether two values, namely the clerk, the store chief

jquery gets content using:

  var iv_level=jquery ("#iv_level  option:selected"). Text ();
