JSP development based on the NetBean6.1 platform (1)

1. Download NetBean6.1

NetBean6.1 includes the Web servers Tomcat6.0.16 and GlassFish V2. Therefore, after NetBean is installed, these two servers are automatically installed.

2. View Tomcat attributes

In NetBean IDE, open "window"-"service"-"server", right-click "atat6.0.16", and select "properties". The default server port number is "8084 ".

 

Iii. Test whether Tomcat is available

1. Right-click Tomcat6.0.16 and select start. If the startup is successful, the start button becomes unavailable.

2. Enter http: // localhost: 8084 in the address bar of the browser. If the Tomcat configuration is correct, you can see it in the browser.

4. Create a Web project in NetBean

1. Choose "file"> "new project"> "Web"> "Web application" from the menu"

2. Enter a project name and click "Next"

3. Click Finish"
