Kali Linux Update source problem plus Input Method installation

Kali Linux after installation

The software source uses the official source by default. The first step we have to make is to change the source of the software.

Terminal input

Vi/etc/apt/source.list

Delete the original source by deleting ESC plus dd to remove an entire line

Change to a faster source

Deb Http://mirrors.tuna.tsinghua.edu.cn/kali/kali-rolling contrib main non-free

#

Deb Http://http.kali.org/kali kali-rolling main Non-free contrib

Press ESC and ENTER after the modification is complete: WQ save

Then terminal input

Apt-get Update

Apt-get Dist-upgrade

Apt-get Clean

And then wait for the update

After the update is complete

Apt-get Install IBUs Ibus-pinyin

Install Pinyin Input method, after installation is complete
Ibus-setup

Add Input Method

Save and then go to the top right corner of the desktop delete Chinese IME add Chinese IME Pinyin version

Then terminal input

IBUs restart

Restart IME

Switch between Chinese and English input method can be entered
