KB2589275 causes the Office Starter 2010 File association error Prompt to activate the solution

After updating Ms KB2589275, the random pre-installed Office Starter 2010 prompts need to be activated, not working properly, the Word file is not properly associated and open (as shown in the green section below), and the updated KB cannot be uninstalled.

Cause Analysis:

The initial suspicion is that the KB2589275 update destroys the file association of office.

　　Impact Range: Win 7 32-bit operating system and pre-installed all models of Office starter2010 (including desktops and notebooks)

Solution:

Scenario One: Repair the Office Starter 2010 installation component. (No subsequent Windows updates are affected after the operation)

Step 1: Click "Start" and select "Control Panel" as shown below:

Step 2: Select "View by" as "category" and click "Uninstall Program" as shown below:

Step 3: Select the Office Starter 2010 program and click on the "Change" button as shown below:

Step 4: Click Yes to repair and wait for the repair to complete.

Scenario two: Restore to the nearest System restore point by System Restore. (Temporarily turn off Windows Update after you have done this)

Step 1: Right click on "Computer" select "Properties", click "System Protection"

Step 2: Click "System Restore" click "Next" to select the nearest restore point for restore.
