Description:

CVE (CAN) ID: CVE-2007-2453

Linux Kernel is the Kernel used by open source Linux.

Linux Kernel's Random Number Generation Mechanism has a vulnerability. Attackers may exploit this vulnerability to threaten the security of encrypted applications.

Linux Kernel does not properly process the seed of the random number generator, which may cause the encryption algorithm to use non-random numbers, which helps attackers to crack random encryption applications.
