1.1 Downloads golengate Install package

Login http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/goldengate/downloads/index.html official address, download the installation package

depending on the operating system, you can select the appropriate package. My operating system is the Linux 64bit operating system , so select the package for the Red table box above.

1.2 Installation golengate Install package

Upload V100692-01.zip to the server and give the user permissions:

[Email protected]_5 opt]# MV V100692-01.zip/opt/software/

[Email protected]_5 opt]# chown-r Oraarp:oinstall/opt/software

[Email protected]_5 opt]# chmod 777/opt/software/

Unpacking the installation package

[Email protected]_5 software]# Su-oraarp

[Email protected]_5 ~]$ cd/opt/software/

[Email protected]_5 software]$ Unzip V100692-01.zip

Create an installation directory for OGG , directory /opt/ogg

[Email protected]_5 software]# mkdir-p/opt/ogg

[Email protected]_5 software]# chown-r oraarp:oinstall/opt/ogg/

[Email protected]_5 software]# chmod 755/opt/ogg/

Log in to the Linux server using VNC and install golengate using OUI mode

Choose which database version to install, I chose Oracle 11G

Select the installed directory, the directory specified here/opt/ogg, users can choose the installation directory according to their own needs

1.3 Using Ggsci, create subdirectories (by default, subdirectories are created using OUI)

[Email protected]_5 ~]$ Cd/arp/ogg

[Email protected]_5 ogg]$ pwd

/arp/ogg

[Email protected]_5 ogg]$./ggsci
