Kingsoft guard is perfect for traffic monitoring and network speed Testing

After Kingsoft network was formally established, Kingsoft guardian and Kingsoft drug overlord became one of its two main products. Since then, Kingsoft guardian's R & D team has made persistent efforts to make new innovations. In just one month, Kingsoft guard not only launched an open-source program that shocked the industry, but also completed four major updates, added multiple functions such as network speed measurement and traffic monitoring.

Network bandwidth resources are limited, and applications frequently access the network. frequent uploads and downloads occupy the bandwidth and slow down the network speed. Kingsoft guard's "traffic monitoring" function can monitor network traffic in real time, the "network speed test" function can quickly test the network speed and learn the real Internet speed. Let's try it out with the author.

I. Traffic Monitoring, who can access the network at a glance

Kingsoft guard "traffic monitoring" not only monitors who is accessing the network, but also pulls out slow network speed programs. In addition, it can close the process according to the user's wishes, release the bandwidth, and prevent insecure network access.

By default, as long as Kingsoft guard is running, a floating toolbar will appear in the lower right corner of the desktop, showing the download and upload traffic in real time. Move the pointer to the floating toolbar, the "Kingsoft guard traffic monitoring" floating window is displayed. The window lists the three programs that currently occupy the most network bandwidth. Click "View Details" to open the "Kingsoft guard traffic monitoring" window, network traffic, upload and download speeds, who are the "culprit" in the use of network bandwidth can be seen at a glance. Click "close process" to prevent related programs from accessing the network, release the network bandwidth, and remove the lower left of the window. "The floating window is displayed on the desktop, in the "√" option of "monitoring network traffic", you can close the desktop floating toolbar and floating window, and click "close monitoring" in the upper right corner of the window to disable traffic monitoring (1 ).

2. Test the network speed to learn the real Internet speed

The network speed is not only limited by network bandwidth, but also affected by factors such as network equipment and line conditions. The real Internet access speed is often different from the network speed given by the network operator, kingsoft guard's "network speed test" function can quickly test the network speed and learn the real Internet speed.

Run Kingsoft guard, switch to the system optimization window, and click the "Network speed test" button on the left-side navigation bar to open the "Kingsoft guard network speed test" window. The system automatically starts the test network speed, wait a moment and a test report will be provided. Based on the test report, you can understand the current real Internet access speed (2 ).

"Traffic Monitoring" can monitor network traffic in real time, stop insecure network access at any time, and release the occupied network bandwidth. "network speed testing" can quickly test the network speed, learn about the real Internet access speed. If a network exception is found during surfing, and the speed suddenly slows down, you can open "traffic monitoring" to check out the bandwidth-consuming program and run the "Network speed test" for a test, understand the real network speed.
