Why do I select a layer-3 Switch to implement IP routing between VLANs?

To divide VLANs, you must have IP routing between VLANs. Before the emergence of a layer-3 switch, a traditional router is used to implement the above functions, because layer-3 Switch has the advantage of wire speed in route forwarding. In this case, layer-3 switching is also based on this reason-it can achieve line-rate IP routing between valns. This is also the reason why a large number of layer-3 replacement machines are used in high-performance LAN. Therefore, layer-3 switches have significant performance advantages in a large and high-performance switching environment, which is the top priority of this solution.

TRUNK indicates port aggregation.
