Lab 1 basic network device operations-log on to the Console

Lab task: log on to the Console
Environment: h3c router or switch
Steps:
I. Link Configuration cable:
Connect the serial port of the pc or terminal to the Console port of the router through the standard Console cable. One end of the RJ-45 head of the cable connects to the Console port of the router, and one end of the 9-pin RS-232 interface connects to the serial port of the computer.
2. Start the PC and run the Super Terminal:
On the PC desktop, run Start> program> attachment> communication> Super Terminal ]:
Dialog Box 1: random name
Dialog Box 2: [use during connection] ---> COM1 --> [Restore Default Configuration]
3. Go to the Console configuration page.
