LAN computer sharing cannot access the solution:
By default, the local security settings for Windows XP require that all users with network access take the guest approach.
Also, in the user rights Assignment of Windows XP security policy, guest users are prevented from accessing the system over the network. These two conflicting security policies cause other users in the network to be unable to access the computer using Windows XP over the network. You can use the following methods to solve.
1, Service "Server", property Startup Type-"Auto"-OK, then on the left point "start", OK.
2, check that the workgroup computer denied access because the Workstation service was not turned on.
Properties-Startup Type "Automatic" determines. Then select "Workstation Services" right-click "Start", you can.
Method One: Remove the limit on the Guest account, click "Start → run", in the "Run" dialog box, enter "GPEDIT." MSC, open the Group Policy Editor.
Select Computer Configuration →windows settings → security settings → local policies → user rights Assignment, double-click the "Deny access to this computer from the network" policy and delete the "GUEST" account.
This allows other users to access the computer using the Windows XP system with the Guest account over the network.
Method Two: Change the network access mode, open the Group Policy Editor, select "Computer Configuration →windows settings → security settings → Local policies → security options"
Double-click the network access: local account sharing and security mode policy, and the default setting is guest only, Local users authenticate as guest, and change to classic: Local users authenticate as themselves.
Method Three: Change network access mode open the Group Policy Editor, select Computer Configuration →windows settings → security settings → Local policies → security options The local account with a blank password only allows console logon: changed to Disabled.
It turns out that there is an account in security options: A local account with a blank password only allows console logon policy is enabled by default.
Based on the principle of denial of priority in Windows XP security policy, users who have a blank password will be banned from accessing a computer using Windows XP over the network, and we can simply deactivate this policy to resolve the issue.
Method Four: Click on the desktop My computer right-admin-local Users and groups-user, put the Guest user attribute "account has been deactivated in front of the hook removed" on the right.
Method Five: Open My Computer-Tools Options-Folder Options-View-use simple file sharing before the hooks are removed, OK.
Ps:
The above method does not work, modify the registry, start-run regedit enter
Hkey-local-machine/system/currentcontrolset/control/lsa
Find RestrictAnonymous on the right-the change value is set to 0, restart the computer, you can access it.
