The installation of DNS servers and clients is briefly described in the previous section. Although there are few knowledge points involved, there are already two parts of the DNS system that are indispensable, that is, DNS servers and clients, and the DNS system includes zone and resource records, which are primarily discussed in this section for the creation of DNS forward and reverse lookup zones.
In the first section, the concept of "area" is mentioned, in short, the region is a contiguous namespace with authoritative administrative privileges on the DNS server. In a DNS server, you can create multiple zones, such as a.com and B.Com, and a new number of domains can be created under each zone. Note that the first place here is the region, and then the domain, and only the domain, because in one area there is no new zone, and each established domain, reflected in the DNS hierarchy, is a hierarchy. For example, under the zone a.com, we can create a new domain named B, then the new host or other records will be similar b.c.a.com. Such a structure. and the name of the newly created domain cannot have a., but the system automatically converts it to the structure of the domain of the hierarchy. This part of the content is more abstract, let's do a demo.
To create a forward lookup zone, for example, the so-called forward lookup, that is, the records in this area can find the corresponding IP address by name. Right-click the forward lookup zone, and select New zone as follows:
When selected, the following figure:
