Flexible call Template
PowerPoint offers a very rich template that you can choose from: select "File" → "new", and in the Open task pane you can see that it provides new, new from existing presentations, and new three template calls based on templates.

Instead, click Select Presentation under new from existing presentation to create a new file as a template for an existing presentation. Flexible selection of slide templates
Pre-PowerPoint XP version invocation templates are rigid, and slides in a presentation can only apply the same template. PowerPoint XP has made a lot of progress, and you can use a variety of templates for slides in your presentation: First select the task Pane under the View menu and open the Slide Design task pane. And in normal view, select the slides that you want to apply the template to (if you have more than one slide to apply the same template, you can hold down the CTRL key to select one at a while, and then point to a template that appears in the task pane, click the Drop-down button on the right to open the menu, and then select Apply to Selected slides.
To apply more network templates
PowerPoint XP itself carries a limited number of templates. However, you can download more network templates from Microsoft's site, select "File" → "new", and then click the "Template on Microsoft.com" button below the Open task pane to open the Chinese Template Library on the site. It includes the "publishing and education", "office", "briefing" and other 14 categories of a total of more than 200 templates. As long as you click a template type link on a page (such as "Publishing and Education"), you can see the name and provider of the class template on the Web page. You can preview by pressing the preview button, and clicking a template name displays the template final license agreement, and when you click Edit in PowerPoint after accepting the agreement, ie downloads the template to your hard disk and automatically opens the template in PowerPoint. If you are satisfied with the template, you can save it as a template with "Save as" and then you can call it as a Normal template.
Apply a color scheme quickly
I don't know if you've noticed, the color scheme in PowerPoint is actually a special template, and if you want to apply a color scheme to multiple slides, hold down the CTRL key to select multiple slides in the Slides window, and then click Color Schemes in the Slide Design task pane. , and then click the color scheme you like in the task pane, and the selected slide will use this color scheme. You can also use this technique if you want to quickly apply design templates, animation schemes, or text layouts to multiple slides.
Right-click to create your own file
First enter the c:documents and Settings name Templates folder, right-click, select new → PowerPoint presentation create a new PowerPoint file, double-click the file, and then customize the color, font, and so on. Finally, select it and rename it to the Pwrpnt10.pot file.

Create a new document with the Content Prompt wizard
The Content Hint Wizard is also a special template, a collection of templates that are tailored to your needs. PowerPoint starts the Content Tip Wizard by clicking New on the File menu, you can see the New Presentation task pane, and then click the Content Prompt Wizard to open the Content Hints Wizard dialog box. You can see a series of templates that meet specific task requirements in the Slides tab by simply selecting the presentation type, determining the output type (screen output, Web presentation, and so on), and entering a few steps for the presentation options. Installing external templates
Templates are stored in the form of files. So, if you find some Word templates on the Web or on a CD, just copy them to the c:documents and Settingsadministratorapplication datamicrosofttemplates folder ( Windows 2000/xp) or C:windowsapplication datamicrosofttemplates folder (Windows 9x/me).
Using read-only method to use multiple templates
You can also use read-only to create multiple templates: You can create several PPT files in a single folder, double-click them, and then open them in PowerPoint and set them up into multiple "templates." Save a presentation as a template

Change the default design for a new presentation
When you click the New button on the Standard toolbar, PowerPoint displays a design slide that uses the default. In fact, you can change the design so that it always includes some common elements so that you don't have to change the content every time you create a presentation, which makes it a lot easier: Click the New button on the Standard toolbar. Small Tips
It is important to note that if you want to use Blank.pot as the default design, you must save it in the default path of the Save As dialog box. You must also name the template "Blank.pot".
Quick use of other templates
PowerPoint allows you to use templates made by other people or to extract templates from other people's slides, apply to your slides: Open the presentation you want to change the template to, and then choose format → Slide design, where the Slide Design task pane appears on the right side of the main window. Apply multiple template layouts

Set the default template
If you change the default blank design template, you want to apply the original default design to your presentation again. If you want to apply the original default design to all new presentations, you can rename the Blank.pot file or delete it.
Replace or add a slide template in PowerPoint
