Learn PHP, what do I do with a project or to show the mighty PHP

I small rookie, just learned some php things, I would like to do a project to reflect the characteristics of PHP the kind, ask you predecessors, I do what kind of project? Or what functions to write?
(Note: I have seven people, we want to do a thing, reflect the PHP display project or function)

What power do you want? PHP is doing web pages.

PHP development projects and other development methods of different features, or that PHP is better at dealing with what kind of problem?

PHP does not have anything to be mighty, the characteristic is the development fast, the development is easy only
