Why is PBX still beautiful?

Cause 1: Chinese enterprises do not have the habit of using IP phones. At present, from the domestic IP Phone switch shipment situation, more is supported by foreign companies. Many Chinese enterprises have not yet formed the habit of using IP phones, and even some enterprises do not know much about IP phones themselves. This is one reason why companies continue to select PBX.

Cause 2: PBX is more cost-effective because of low functional requirements. Most enterprises have simple requirements for internal calls. First, they need to select the appropriate number of calls based on the actual number of users. Then, they can support simple and practical functions of incoming call display and voice calls. These domestic PBX switches, ranging from several hundred yuan to several thousand yuan, are sufficient. Compared with the IPPBX, the cost difference makes the PBX cost-effective.

Cause 3: Expensive ancillary facilities impede the popularization of IPPBX. In fact, the price difference between IPPBX and PBX is not just a single switch. Building an enterprise's internal telephone network, a large number of telephone terminals are essential, and currently the price of telephones supporting IP phones is more than yuan, compared with dozens of Yuan of ordinary calls, the price difference of more than 10 times is really difficult for users to accept.

Cause 4: The pressure on one-time payment is high, and enterprises prefer to keep flowing. VoIP brought by IPPBX can make enterprise communication more cost-effective, which is also a highlight of IPPBX's vigorous promotion. However, the cost savings will gradually take effect in the later stage. Compared with the "hidden" cost savings, the high cost of building an IPPBX telephone network is unacceptable to many enterprises. As a result, PBX, which seems to be more cost-effective, has become the preferred choice for many corporate CEOs to face IT supervisor proposals. In the long run, the overall cost of IP phone calls will be lower, but the low-down payment and high-staging PBX "cheat" more market share, the reason is very simple, explicit costs overwhelm hidden costs.
