In the network, the configuration of access control lists [ACLs] enables control over the sending and receiving of some packets. This allows for the allocation of access rights and improved security.

There are two types of access control protocol, the standard access control "mainly for IP address filtering" and extended access control "mainly based on port protocol filtering"

This time, let's look at the standard Access control protocol.

Configuration ideas

1 Configure the sub-interface address of the router's Xia Lian switch and the IP address of the physical port of the other switch and turn on the port

2 Create a new switch VLAN, configure the port for the Xia Lian pc to access and the uplink link as the trunk port

3 Configure the IP address of the PC and configure the gateway as the address of the router sub-interface

4 Configure router default routing to make the network interoperable

5 Create a new ACL policy on the destination router, define the name or number, configure the allowed and denied IP addresses

6 Enter the router port to enable ACL policy

Network topology

1, configure Router 1, turn on the single-arm routing configuration subinterface address and connect the physical interface address of another route and open the port
