Learning Note: WIN10 compression pack version MySQL installation and configuration

Before the installation how is more or less a problem, this successful installation, recorded.

1. Download the MySQL version for your computer;

2. Set Environment variables:

Adding the MySQL Bin directory to the system variable path, WIN10 's path path does not seem to have been added as previously Win7, and I added it through new-browse,

3. Configure My.ini

Change the My-default.ini to My.ini and add

Basedir = F:\mysql5631

DataDir = F:\mysql5631\data

Port = 3306

4. Registration Service (to start the command line with administrator privileges, otherwise error)

5. Set the password

6. Start the service and close the service

net start MySQL

net stop MySQL

7. Display
