at present, the desktop and all-in-one machine used by Lenovo factory preinstalled with Windows 8 is a combination of uefi+gpt hard drives, and a secure boot is turned on, but currently no Windows system other than window 8 supports this mode, so if you need to retrofit other systems, such as Widndows 7, must work in the traditional bios+mbr mode.
If you do not modify any of the settings, you will not be able to boot from the disc to install other operating systems.
The following is a detailed procedure for factory-preinstalled Windows 8 retrofit Windows 7.

Special Reminders:

1. This operation will cause all data on the hard disk to be emptied, including one-click Recovery function will also be cleared, if you need to restore WINDOWS8 system and one-click Recovery function, you need to send to the service station operation, 1 years free. (You need to delete all the original partitions when you convert a GPT hard drive to an MBR hard drive)

2, install Windows 7 and other operating systems must use the genuine installation CD, so when the deletion of the partition re-creation, the installation program will automatically convert GPT to MBR, do not use Ghost disc or third-party partition tool to repartition the partition, This may cause unpredictable conditions such as the system not being installed properly or booting normally

3. If data is stored on the hard drive, you must back up the data of the entire hard drive, not just the data on the C drive (see first for a reason)

1. Press the F1 key on the keyboard at startup to enter the BIOS interface,

4. Press the LEFT ARROW key (←) on the keyboard to enter the startup interface
Select the CSM option and press ENTER on the keyboard
Set "CSM" to "Enabled" and press ENTER to confirm
