Let's say I build a Linux cluster--Specify the name of each machine

Source: Internet
Author: User

CentOS7 Set host Name: Command hostname to view the current host name

Virtual Recruit (Temporary): Restart the machine after the failure: hostname XXX

Confess (permanent):

Move one: Will /etc/sysconfig/network , the hostname column changes (although effective, but unofficial advice)

Move two: Change the median value of /etc/hostname (official recommendation)

Moves three: Use the hostnamectl command: Hostnamectl set-hostname host name

Other moves: graphical interface, third-party tools ...

Note: In CENTOS7/REDHAT7, Priority: Moves two > Moves one

Finally, it is best to change the hostname in the IP mapping list in the /etc/hosts file too, perfect!!
