In the Microsoft operating system, the system Quick Start column contains a "display desktop" icon, through which users can quickly return to the system desktop. In the operating system before Windows Vista, if this icon is deleted by mistake, many netizens know how to use it to bring it back.
Recently, problems and methods of "how to retrieve Vista desktop icons" have emerged on the network. However, I found that the method was not effective, but some netizens reflected that the method was feasible. Did I make a mistake, or did the netizens make a mistake?
I am writing my own operation process to let everyone judge whether the method is feasible.
First, delete the "show desktop" icon (1) in the Quick Start column, enter the "regsvr32/n/I: U shell32" command in the "run" dialog box, and press Enter, A prompt message is displayed. As per the method, after I click "OK" (2), the desktop icon will appear again in the Quick Start bar.

After I click "OK", I haven't seen the "show desktop" icon again after waiting for a long time. I doubt whether a restart is required for reproduction. However, after the machine is restarted, the icon still does not appear.
I don't know if the user of Vista has encountered this problem. If yes? How did you solve this problem? Or you have never met, but I want you to test it according to this method to see if the methods in "circulating" are useful. So that everyone can make a fair referee.
