Limit usage in MySQL

Author: User

SELECT * FROM table_name LIMIT start offset, quantity

(1) The starting offset is 0: the representation has no offset, starting at line 1th.

(2) quantity is-1: Represents infinity, that is, all rows after the offset.

(3) Limit n <=> limit 0,n

When the initial offset is small, the use of limit performance is good.

When the initial offset is large (greater than 1w), the subquery is preferred.

1. SELECT * FROM table_name LIMIT 10000, 10;

2. SELECT * FROM table_name where id>= (

SELECT ID from table_name ORDER BY ID LIMIT 10000, 1;

) LIMIT 10;
