Link files in Word2010 with pasted links

If the user wants to create a link in the Word2010 document that links to other parts of the file, rather than linking to the entire file, it can be implemented with the paste-only feature. To link some of the data in an Excel table as an example, the following steps are described:

Step 1th, open the Excel table window, select the data you want to create a link to, and perform the copy operation. Step 2nd, open the Word2010 document window, click the Paste Drop-down button in the Clipboard group in the Start Ribbon, and select paste selective from the Open Drop-down menu, as shown in Figure 1.

Figure 1 Select the Paste Selective command step 3rd, open the Paste Selective dialog box, select the Microsoft Excel 2003 Worksheet Object option in the form list, select the Paste Link check box, and click OK, as shown in Figure 2.
