1. Command Format

usage : pwd [ options ]

View the full path to the current working directory

Normally without any parameters

If the directory is a link :

format:pwd-p shows the actual path instead of using the connection ( Link ) path.

Example1:Directory Connection Linkwhen thepwd-pshow the actual path instead of using the linkpath ;pwdThe connection path is displayed

Command:

Pwd-p

Output:

[Email protected] init.d]# pwd-p/etc/init.d/etc/rc.d/init.d[[email protected] init.d]#
