Linux command-jobs: Show status information for background jobs

Command format

jobs [-LNPRS] [jobspec ...]

Jobs-x command [args]

Command parameters

-L
The process ID of the additional display job.

-N
Lists only the processes in which the state has changed.

-P
Only the process ID of the job is listed.

-R
Only jobs with a running status are listed.

-S
Only jobs that have a stopped state are listed.

Instance

A) displays the process ID and status of all background jobs.
