Copy the standard input to the standard output and one or more files.

Tee [Options]File-list

 

Parameters

File-listYes for receivingTeeList of output file paths. IfFile-listIf it does not exist, create it.

 

Option

-A: append data to the specified file, instead of overwriting.

-I ignore the interrupt signal

 

Example Tee

$TeeA.txt Hello worldhello world $CatA.txt Hello World
 

Create a file and write data. The usage is the same as that of cat> file, but in addition to writing data, Tee will print it out.

CTRL + D Exit

$Tee-A a.txt this isLast TimeThis isLast Time$CatA.txt Hello worldthis isLast Time
 

Append data to a file and print it to the standard output. The usage is the same as that of cat> file.
