Linux command--shutdown
Name:
Shutdown-Shut down the system
Profile:
Shutdown "OPTION" ... Time (parameter) [MESSAGE]
Describe:
The shutdown arranges the system to shut down in a safe manner. At this point all users on this computer are notified that the system will be closed at the last 5 minutes of time and new logins will be banned.
Time can have a different format, the longest is the English word ' now ', which will cause the system to shut down immediately.
The other valid formats are: +m: The system will wait until m minutes to close. Use: HH:MM will be designated as a 24-hour shutdown at some time.
If no option is specified, the default is to convert the system to single-user mode.
Once time is specified, shutdown sends a request to the Init () daemon, which translates the system into the appropriate runlevel.
Options "option":
-R Requests the system to restart after shutting down.
-H request shutdown (halt) or power off (Poweroff) after it is turned down, leave the selection to the system.
-H request downtime (halt) after the conversion.
-P request Power off (Poweroff) after the conversion.
-C cancels a running shutdown, time is not assigned to an option, the first parameter is a message.
-K simply sends a warning message and disables login (logins) and does not actually shut down the system.
At-H, after-P are turned off, but the actual operation is not the same.
