The function of the WC (Word count) command is to statistically specify the number of bytes, words, and lines in the file, and display the results of the statistics as shown!!


Usage: WC [OPTION] ... [FILE] ...


-C Count bytes.

-L counts the number of rows.

-W Count Count

-M system character numbers

-l option to count the length of the longest line in the file.
