Linux Deepin 2014 Installation PhpMyAdmin

To install phpMyAdmin, your computer has to be configured with lamp first.

Install PhpMyAdmin

sudo apt-get install phpMyAdmin

During the installation process, phpMyAdmin needs some configuration to pass through a few simple steps:

• Select Apache2 as the server

• Select Yes:whether to Configure the database for phpMyAdmin with Dbconfig-common

• Enter your MySQL password

• Enter the login password for phpMyAdmin

After the installation is complete, add the phpMyAdmin to the Apache configuration file.

sudo vim/etc/apache2/apache2.conf

Add this line

Include/etc/phpmyadmin/apache.conf

Save exit, restart Apache

sudo service apache2 restart

In the browser address bar, enter:

Localhost/phpmyadmin

Password: your password
