Linux enters standalone mode to change root password

To forget the password for the root of the Linux system Superuser, you need to enter the standalone mode:

1. Restart the system, while reading the second, press E to enter grub mode;
   

2. Select Current system, press E to edit, you can see as shown:

3. Select the line beginning with kernel and press E to enter edit mode;

4. At the cursor, write 1 and press ENTER:
