1. The first character represents the meaning:

Catalog D

- Archives

L Connection file

b Appliance file is available for storage interface block

C Appliance file serial port device character

rwx rwx rwx

File Owner Permissions

Group permissions

Other people permissions

2. How to change file properties and permissions

CHGRP Change the file group

Chgrp Root Home

Chown Change file owners and groups

Chown User:root Home

Subdirectories are changed:-R

chmod Change the permissions of the file, Suid,sgid,sbit

chmod 4777 Home

3. Contents and archives of the meaning of the Authority

1. To the Archives: rwx

Readable, writable, executable;

2. To the directory: rwx

Readable, modifiable (documents within the directory), accessible;
