The destruction of Linux system files often occurs, usually causing file corruption is due to the super block is damaged, super block is the important location of the file system, which contains the system file status, free disk blocks and other information.

When the file system is corrupted, if it is a EXT2FS type of file system, you can run the "e2fsck" command from the CD to repair the corrupted file. If the file system is a different type, you can use the appropriate "fsck" command.

When the file system's Super block is corrupted, the system may not be able to recognize the file system at all, so it cannot be installed, even with the "e2fsck" command, which will not solve the problem.
