Windows XP SP3 192.168.1.101

The Windows host has a shared folder and allows guest access.

Run the following command on the fedora host to mount the Shared Folder:

# Mount-t cifs // 192.168.1.2/commanfolder/mnt-O username = guest

Password: # Press enter.

Now the contents of the consumer folder can be seen in/MNT.

# Smbclient-l // 192.168.1.2-u guest # Run this command to view shared resources before mounting

Uninstall command:

# Umount/mnt

Shared Folders can only be mounted to existing directories. To mount shared folders to/mnt/winshare, run
