after installation, Linux Integration Services provides
Driver Support: LIS supports special network card and IDE, SCSI storage controller in Hyper-V;
Hyper-V Quick Start support: Use the Client block virtualization Service (VSC) to boot the system to improve performance;
Time synchronization: Support the Guest OS to synchronize time with Host OS using TimeSync service;
Integrated shutdown: The Linux Guest OS can be shut down using the shutdown button in Hyper-V Manager or System Center Virtual Machine Manager;
SMP: Supports the use of multiple virtual CPUs per Linux virtual machine;
Heartbeat: Allows the host to detect whether the virtual machine is running;
Integrated mouse support: Linux Integration Services provides complete mouse support for Linux virtual machines;
Live Migration: LIS supports the Hyper-V Live Migration feature after installation;
Jumbo Frames: Linux virtual machines can be over 1500 bytes of Ethernet frames;
VLAN tag and trunk: Administrators can hang multiple VLAN IDs for network cards.
