Today the main machine re-installed the system, replaced by Linux Mint 18, the following record the installation process:
My machine is 8G memory, 1TB mechanical hard drive.
First make the installed USB flash drive, open the UltraISO, select the Linux mint image below, select "Start" and "Write HDD image" in the top menu bar,
In the pop-up window, select the corresponding USB flash drive, write to usb-hdd+, other default, click "Write", wait for completion.
Then start the device, enter the Linux Mint experience mode, click on the installed icon to install.
Scenarios for Partitioning:
1,/boot 100MB online information that this is used to boot Linux boot, is not necessary, I do not know about Linux, or built.
2,/60000MB seems I built 60G more than the online tutorial, but because this machine is mainly used for learning programming, do not like tossing, or larger.
3, swap 4000MB heard that more than 4G memory of the machine does not need to build, but I intend to use to run Win7 virtual machine, so some virtual memory is still relatively good.
4, home and others are divided to the other, like Usr,opt, var, tmp, for the ordinary desktop, really will use the opportunity is not much.
After the installation is complete, the system updates, Ctrl+alt+t, opens the terminal,
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
