Today, the Linux system is installed on ansible by Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.5 (Santiago).
Because the source of the system is a Yum source, install with yum install ansible, but error: (This error is that the Yum source is not registered with the Red Hat system.)
Yum source can not be installed, so a change of thinking. Install using PIP. Pip is a python-dependent installation.
1. Check Python version
Python-v
Check it out for Python 2.6.6
2. Check the PIP version
Pip-v
No PIP command
3. Perform PIP installation
Download PIP package for installation
https://bootstrap.pypa.io/get-pip.py download
tar -zxvf ./pip.tar.gz
cd pip
python setuo.py install
The installation error does not match Python 2.6. pip is used on Python2.7.
4. Upgrade Python to version 2.7
Wget https://www.python.org/ftp/python/2.7.13/Python-2.7.13.tgz link
tar -xf ./Python-2.7.13.tgz
mkdir /usr/local/python2.7/
cd ./Python-2.7.13
./configure --prefix = / usr / local / python2.7 /
make
make install
mv / usr / bin / python / usr / bin / python_bak backup old version
ln -s /usr/local/python27/bin/python2.7 / usr / bin / python creates a soft connection
python -V
The installation was successful for version 2.7.
5. Reinstall pip
cd pip-0.9.1
python setup.py insatll
