Linux installation Codeblocks__linux

Installed in Linux several times codeblocks to come, although it is not so smooth, mainly lack of too much reliance on the package, but finally installed successfully. Each installation is not smooth, perhaps because the installation has not been successful after the installation of the steps to write down the reason. The following is the most recent procedure for installing codeblocks:

1. Install rpmforge-release-0.5.2-2.el6.rf.i686.rpm
Install this is for Yum online installation preparation.

2. Install GCC, gcc-c++

If the dependencies of the installation are installed through the source code, then GCC, gcc-c++ is necessary, in fact, these two compilers are to be installed anyway, they are the best Linux/C + + compiler.

4. Install GTK +, Gtk2-devel

It can be installed via yum install GTK + yum install Gtk2-devel.

5. Install WXGTK

This may be the most troublesome because of the need to solve a lot of dependencies.

Download wxgtk-2.8.x.tar.bz2, unzip tar-jxv-f wxgtk-2.8.x.tar.bz2

Into the unpacked directory execution./configure make make Install

The installation process is very long, after installing Wx-config--libs, the result is-lwx_gtk2u-2.8, the installation is successful

6. Install Codeblocks

Download codeblocks-10.05-src.tar.bz2, unzip tar-jxv-f codeblocks-10.05-src.tar.bz2

Cp/usr/local/share/aclocal/wxwin.m4/usr/share/aclocal/wxwin.m4

Into the unpacked directory execution./configure make make Install
