It feels great to buy a new hard drive and install the CentOS 7 OS, and as a Java programmer, the first thing to do is to install a JDK. Used to download the TAR package and then unzip the configuration environment variable, today change, with RPM package installed.

1 Download JDK to Oracle website, end with. rpm

2 Uninstall the default JDK on CentOS.

1) View the JDK:RPM-E installed in the system | grep JDK

2) Uninstall Rpm-e--nodeps PackageName

3 Installation

RPM-IVH jdk-8xx.rpm

4 Verification

Open command line Input java-version authentication
