(i) Pre-installation Preparation

Boot into coms setting, change boot order to CD ROM, A, C. Put the RedHat6.0 CD into the optical drive, the system automatically into the installation state. First install, or the default value is good, due to the different hardware, I talk about my several major steps.

Then add a swap partition to Linux in the same way, with only the mount point item left empty and the Linux swap selected in the type project. Enter the partition size (for example, 64), noting that the size of the swap partition cannot be less than the physical MemoryThe actual size. For Linux partition, press OK to write the section information to the hard disk. And then there's the Formatting, execute the default value,

2, the custom installs the Linux software, the hard disk space is limited, uses the default value to forget, oh, I need KDE, I add KDE item! OK, now it's ready to install.
