Linux Iptables Open Port 80

Source: Internet

When Apache was installed under Linux
Test Apache listening on port 80
#netstat-LNT |grep 80
TCP 0 0::: +:::* LISTEN
The installation is successful!

Thinking of using native Telnet IP 80

No way--but Telnet IP 22 is through ~ ~

The 80 port may not be open.
So turn on port 80.

1. Open 80 Port command:/sbin/iptables-i input-p TCP--dport 80-j ACCEPT
2. Save Configuration command:/etc/rc.d/init.d/iptables save

3. Restart Service command:/etc/rc.d/init.d/iptables restart
4. View the ports that are already open:/etc/init.d/iptables status
