Because it is missing this unity-control-center, so we can reinstall it.

1. Open terminal with ctrl+alt+t, enter sudo dpkg--configure-a, press ENTER, enter password:

2. Then enter the sudo apt-get install Unity-control-center and press ENTER:

3. Then it's installed, so you can look at the results:

Here we can see the general system settings have, but, after the installation, and then restart, found that the input method can not be used, I began to use the FCITX, the installation is Sogou input method, found can not run, not the input method of the display, Unbuntu14.04 comes with is the IBUs input method, but I do not like that style, so reinstall a FCITX, (here I think, before the installation of FCITX, the IBUs uninstalled, so caused by the system settings display is not complete.) Then install unity-control-center , and then put IBUs reinstall, so here again need to reconfigure input method: or want to use the original input method, but there can not uninstall IBUs, here need to enter the language support inside to configure, ( Start discovering options for language support not found in system settings)

5. Language support may not be found because the installation of Im-switch,im-switch and language support is not compatible, the two can only take one, install one, if the other exists will be uninstalled;

Workaround:

Input sudo apt-get install Laguage-selector-gnome

Reinstall the Language Support option.

6. After the installation, we found that the language support is back (is the installation after the cut figure)

Then we begin to configure the input method:

Open Language Support:

The keyboard input mode system to FCITX, here I was installed before the FCITX, not installed can be installed first:

sudo apt-get install fcitx-table-wbpy wb wubi py Pinyin

I use the Sogou here, the personal feeling than the IBUs more useful.

7. Then reboot, you can open from the keypad icon in the top-right corner of Ubuntu , select the input method you need,

I use the sogou here, so directly with the Sogou, the other is the same configuration.

Remember here to switch the keyboard shortcut keys or windows in the habit of ctrl+shift and ctrl+space(space).
