The CentOS7 rescue mode is somewhat similar to the Windows PE system. To enter rescue mode, you need to use the installation CD.
Restart the machine, use the disc to boot, enter the display, select "Troubleshooting", enter.

Select "Rescue a CentOS Linux system" and enter.

Then select 1) Continue, enter.

Next, enter here again.

At this point, you have logged in to rescue mode, enter the following command to change the root password.
chroot/mnt/sysimage/#切换到原系统, the original system command can be used below.

passwd Root
