We often use the cat command when using Linux to view the contents of a file, if the text file display content is normal, but if it is a file in other formats, sometimes garbled, and then you no matter what you enter, and sometimes appear in garbled format. In this case, when the client is used to connect to the server, it shuts down the client and turns it back on, so everything is back to normal. In fact, there are more convenient ways to solve this problem is to use the Reset command to restore the shell. Take a look at/bin/cat as an example.

Enter cat/bin/cat on the command line

Show results as a mess

Note that this time again input, the cursor is displayed or garbled

Then input reset (also display garbled, do not hit the wrong) enter

The normal input is back again.
