Often use Redhat files to download things, with CD-ROM too troublesome, directly copy the ISO file into the virtual machine, directly with the file mount.

1, if it is temporarily hung in, Mount-loop/*.iso/dirfile. There must be a-loop option, and if not written, the system will also prompt for write-on.

2, if it is automatically hung in the/etc/fstab file, the file type is iso9660 after the parameter is defaults,ro,loop 0 0.

Here is the configuration of the Yum Source:

1. Configure the Yum source. The above is the ISO file and mount point we need.

You need to create a new *.repo file in the/etc/yum.repos.d/directory. Of course, it is possible to modify the existing files, but it is recommended not to do so. Save the original file so that it cannot be found after use. When used, Yum looks for all of the. repo files in that directory.

Configuring the New.repo File

From: R/etc/yum.repos.d/r*.repo reading files to text

Edit Modify [NewName]

Name= arbitrary legal non-conflicting characters

Baseurl=file:///root/desktop/soft/rhel//This directory is my previous ISO file mount point.

Enable=1//enabled by default

Gpgcheck=0//Close Gpgkey Check

GPGKEY=XXXX//Do not modify this, in the original line.

2, the configuration is good to save. Command Yum repolist the number of packets after detection has been configured successfully.
