Linux Network Configuration

Command:

 

IP address, subnet mask, Gateway

Ifconfig eth0 192.168.0.123 netmask 255.255.255.0

Route add default GW 192.168.0.1

 

DNS

VI/etc/resolv. conf

Add nameserver 202.106.0.20

 

This configuration does not take effect immediately and must be restarted.

/Etc/init. d/network restart

The above configuration fails after restart, you can change/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 (here you want to configure the interface for eth0, if there is no such file then add)
