A CentOS Operating system was installed to test Nginx server load balancer before linux network devices could not be started. My colleague once upgraded the VM and recently tried to test KeepAlived on it. Therefore, the service cannot be connected. I started to find out the cause. I have been dumbly changing the ifcf linux network device and cannot start the problem. I installed a CentOS Operating system to test Nginx load balancing. it was useless for a long time. My colleague once upgraded the VM and recently tried to test KeepAlived on it. Therefore, the service cannot be connected. Start to find the cause, has been silly to change the ifcfg-eth0 configuration file, restart the network does not always prompt to find the device eth0, so use ifconfig-a command to view all the current network devices, it is found that eth0 does not exist, but an eth1 exists. is the name changed? No matter how much it is, reconfigure it. As a result, I directly modified the ifcfg-eth0 configuration, changed the device to eth1, tried to restart the network, and encountered an error again. At this time, tell me that the mac address is incorrect. you have to retrieve the mac address of eth1 again. Open cat/etc/udev/rules. d/70-persistent-net.rules remember the mac address of eth1, edit the ifcfg-eth0 again, change the mac address inside and restart network service network restart !!
