Linux Networking on VMware (centos6.3, UBUNTU14 test pass)

To install Linux on a virtual machine for practice, a very important step is to connect the network, the following:

1. Set the virtual machine to Internet mode as NAT

Note: In the Red box, select

2. Set the IP acquisition mode of VMNET8 virtual network in host local machine to DHCP

3, set the IP acquisition mode of Linux as DHCP (take centos6.4 as an example)

(1) Input command: Setup popup box

(2) Select network Settings

(3) Network settings

Note: The * number indicates that the DHCP

(4) Restart Network Service
