Linux Nic restart error: Job for network. service failed. See 'systemctl solution,

Today, I want to use a virtual machine that has been put on hold for a long time. I found that I suddenly failed to connect to the Internet. I checked the network configuration and found that there was no problem. When I restarted the network adapter (service network restart), an error occurred: Job for network. service failed. see 'systemctl status network. service 'and 'journalctl-xn' for deta.

The following are some of the solutions I found on the Internet:

1. Because the Mac address does not match, we can use the command (IP addr

Show) to check the Mac address of the Local Machine and check whether the network configuration is consistent. (This usually occurs when the server is migrated from another place. When the VM is migrated, only the VM disk is copied, and the system will re-allocate the MAC address to the new VM)

2. Change the Virtual Machine network settings and change the network connection to the bridging mode.

3. Change the name and file name in the configuration to the same

4. Delete the original Nic file and create another

5. There is a network adapter icon in the lower right corner of the vmwarevm, Which is gray. Click Select connection.

6. VMware DHCP service and VMware NAT service are disabled on the computer. (This is a small part of the problem, because 360 of the computer manager cleaned up these services, so the virtual machine is not connected to the Internet)

Solution:

1. Open Computer Management

2. Click the service to find the VMware-related service to start.

Conclusion: first, we need to identify the possible causes of the problem, and then eliminate them one by one. It is much easier to find the corresponding solution after finding the cause.
